Recruitment open for chair of RM Partners Lung Cancer Pathway Group
20 Dec 2018
RM Partners is recruiting a new chair for the Lung Cancer Pathway Group. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver cancer transformation and influence the quality and equity of lung cancer services in west London.
The Lung Cancer Pathway Group meets every two months to share experience, best practice and innovation in the delivery of services across west London. The work of the group is supported by the RM Partners senior leadership team, informatics services and project management.
Over the past two years the RM Partners Lung Cancer Pathway Group has been leading on the implementation of two cancer transformation projects for lung: the Low Dose CT case finding for lung cancer project; and the national optimal lung cancer pathway (NOLCP) pilots. The pathway group has provided input and oversight to ensure that the projects are successfully delivered and that there is ongoing engagement and lessons learnt for west London. The pathway group will use the project evaluations and recommendations to inform the 2019/20 lung cancer priorities and oversight of future cancer transformation projects.
The appointee will provide leadership for one Programmed Activity (equivalent of four hours) per week to support the group’s agenda, to chair the bi-monthly meeting as well as associated sub groups.
Applicants should submit a CV and cover letter to katie.morris3@nhs.net. The closing date for applications is 9am on Monday 7 January. Interviews will take place during the week beginning 21 January.
Informal discussions can be held with Emma Kipps, Clinical Programme Lead, RM Partners: e.kipps@nhs.net
