Pan London Cancer Research Fellowships available for 2022/23

There is an exciting opportunity for medical and non-medical research fellows to undertake a patient-based and clinically relevant research project. These fellowships have London-based support from Biomedical Research Centres, RM Partners West London Cancer Alliance, North Central London Cancer Alliance, North East London Cancer Alliance and South East London Cancer Alliance.

The pan-London research strategy focuses on areas of unmet need directly linked to new models of care initiated by the Cancer Alliances in London. There are three main workstreams which support areas identified as priorities in the NHS Long Term Plan:  Early Diagnosis, Cancer inequalities and personalised care of people living with and beyond cancer.

The posts are open to medical and non-medical professionals including nurses, pharmacists, psychologists, physiotherapists, health scientists, clinical research practitioners and other allied health professionals (AHP).

Fellowship funding includes salary and running costs for 12 months with an aim to gain preliminary data and work on competitive applications to external funding bodies to fund continuation of the project into a higher degree.

We will be funding up to 4 research fellows for this coming year. The role description and full list of research projects, as well as details of how to apply, are available below.

Closing date for applications is Friday 11 November.
