Free e-learning pathway for diagnostic radiographers

RM Partners, in partnership with e-Learning for Healthcare and Health Education England, has developed and launched the Preceptorship Learning Pathway for Radiographers.

The new learning pathway provides a platform of education and training modules for newly qualified diagnostic radiographers. It is designed to complement local inducation and preceptorship processes, and enables staff to develop their skills in their first year of practice.

The sessions have been divided into four courses which encourage continuing professional development activity relevant to their practice. They include a general introduction and patient care; general radiography; paediatric radiography; and forensic radiography.

The courses were developed based on feedback from radiographers within the RM Partners geography, and are available free on e-Learning for Healthcare.

NHS staff can register for access at https://portal.e-lfh.org.uk. This will explain how to log-in, where to find the pathway, as well as contact details for technical support.
