Annual Review features our work to transform cancer care

We have published our Annual Review for 2018/19, which illustrates our transformational cancer work across west London. During this time we remained focused on our core deliverable of transforming whole pathways according to patient need.

In this review you will find information about our projects looking at improving early detection, and those enabling faster diagnosis and treatment. Additionally, with more patients than ever living with and beyond cancer, we feature our work aimed at supporting health and well-being which in turn can help to optimise quality of life.

It also includes details about the delivery and roll out of some our projects to redesign cancer pathways:

• Projects to improve participation in the national bowel screening and cervical screening programmes
• Implementing a new diagnostic model involving the triage of patients with suspected colorectal cancer
• Our HSJ award-winning RAPID prostate service to improve the speed of access to expert diagnosis and treatment.
