Public and Community Involvement and Engagement
RM Partners is committed to involving and engaging with our patients and local communities. Public and community involvement and engagement are essential in shaping services that truly meet the needs of the populations we serve and helping to improve outcomes and experiences. By actively engaging, we ensure that our services are informed by the people who use them, leading to better health outcomes and more responsive care.
What is Public and Community Involvement and Engagement?
Public and community involvement and engagement refers to the active participation of patients, carers, and local communities in the planning, development, and delivery of health services. This helps to ensure that our services are not only effective but also equitable and inclusive. By incorporating the voices of our communities, we can ensure healthcare services are tailored to the needs of those we serve.
At RM Partners we involve and engage local communities and patients in a variety of ways. This includes embedding community partners within our governance structure; hosting a Strategic Forum consisting of community and voluntary organisations; working with voluntary sector and community leaders; supporting community engagement activities, providing grant funds to local community and voluntary groups to support health and well being activities.
